Annual leave of subordinate courts reduced

Subordinate Civil Courts across the country have decided to cut 15 days from the December month-long annual leave. As a result, the court will be open for the first 15 days of December this year. And from 16 to 31 December there will be 15 days holiday in subordinate courts.
This decision was taken at the full court meeting held today on Wednesday (November 17) with the participation of Supreme Court Appellate and High Court judges. On this day, the full court meeting was held from 4:00 PM to 50:00 PM.
At the same time, the full court meeting approved the Supreme Court's 2022 calendar. Besides, it has been asked to keep a watch on the issue that no organization other than lawyers can hold assembly or human chain inside the Supreme Court.
Multiple sources of the meeting have confirmed this information to the media.
Sources in the meeting said that two days ago, a women's organization formed a human chain in front of the Supreme Court annex building on the issue of Judge Kamrunna. The matter was presented by a judge at the full court meeting.
In view of this, the Registrar General has been told that he should keep an eye on such gatherings or human chains in the future.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain presided over the full court meeting. All judges of the Appellate and High Court Divisions attended the full court meeting.
Incidentally, the full court meeting is its own forum for judges to speak. Various policy-making decisions are taken in full court meetings.
